Problem: Pet care NGOs in Argentina face a significant challenge in their efforts to raise funds internationally. The main problem revolves around two areas:

• International Fundraising: NGOs need to attract donations from sponsors and donors worldwide. However, access to international fundraising platforms can be limited or complicated due to legal barriers, differences in financial regulations between countries, and potential language issues.
• High Commissions on International Transactions: One of the biggest challenges is the high commission associated with international financial transactions. These fees can significantly reduce the total amount of funds raised, affecting the efficiency of fundraising. This is due to fees imposed by banks, money transfer services, and payment platforms, which can be especially burdensome for a nonprofit organization that relies on every cent for its cause.

Solution:

PetFundMe is an innovative cryptocurrency-based crowdfunding platform, specifically designed for pet care and welfare projects. This platform effectively addresses the challenge of low-commission international fundraising for organizations like the pet care NGO in Argentina. Key features of PetFundMe include:

• Project Exploration: PetFundMe allows users to explore a variety of pet care projects, from rescue and adoption to medical care and support for shelters. This facilitates the connection between donors and projects in need of support.
• Donations in Various Cryptocurrencies via the Polygon Network: The platform enables donations using various cryptocurrencies, leveraging the Polygon network for transactions. This network is known for its low fees and high efficiency, ideal for maximizing the impact of donations.
• User Profile with Donation History: Each user can create a profile on PetFundMe, where they can view their recent donations. This provides a sense of achievement and contribution, while also helping to keep track of donation activity.
• Dashboard with Impact Metrics: For NGOs and users, PetFundMe offers a dashboard displaying impact metrics, such as total funds raised, the number of pets helped, and other key indicators. This allows organizations and donors to see the tangible effect of their contributions.
• Global Ranking of Top Contributors: The platform includes a ranking system that highlights the top contributors worldwide. This ranking not only encourages healthy competition among donors but also recognizes and celebrates those who have made significant contributions to the animal welfare cause.
